Saturday is our first group training in preparation for the Water Polo event at London 2012. Sure, I’m excited about seeing the Olympic Village and the Water Polo Arena, but mostly I’m looking forward to getting together with the guys. We have planned to all meet on the train on our way down. There should be some really good banter and an introduction to the good times ahead of us this summer! Roll on Summer 2012!

Tomorrow is the first time we will be going down to London as a group for our first training day and tour of the water polo arena. I am looking forward to it but will be happier once we are there, once i know my train and hotel booking has gone to plan!
London sent us a nice little present yesterday, 6 limited addition pin badges for the young games makers.

We have sacrificed a lot to get to London and this weekend all six of us will miss playing/ coaching in the National Water Polo League finals. But it’s all worth this once in a lifetime opportunity

I am looking forward to our first trip down to London. Not to sure what the weekend will bring but i am excited to get my first glimpse at the Olympic park and especially the water polo arena.
I also cant wait to return to London five days later to volunteer at the test event where I will be able to get a feeling for the job I am doing. Also to experience the atmosphere for the first time at the test event.

There is only 125 days left till it all starts and the things that I am looking to at the Olympics are watching the top players of the country playing in London and I hope learn something while I’m there, It is a once in a lifetime opportunity and will be brilliant to watch.
It is going to be good seeing all the players from different countries. I think that the atmosphere will be awesome that all the world class athletes are in one place.

The thing I’m looking forward to the most about the Olympics is seeing some of the best athletes in the world and how they play.
The buzz about the place will be amazing as Great Britain will be taking on the best and I will be pool side to see it happen.
This is going to be the biggest event that Britain will ever see and I’m proud to say I’m going to be a part of it.

There are many things I am looking forward to, both as an athlete and from a generally perspective. The chance to hopefully meet the most inspirational athletes in the world, particularly waterpolo players is an opportunity I am of course greatly looking forward to.
To add to that I am looking forward to the general atmosphere and ambience of the Olympics and the competitiveness it beholds as well as developing my team work skills.
I feel very grateful to have been selected as part of this team and I am looking forward to this once in a lifetime opportunity.
I believe I will massively improve and benefit from this and I can’t wait to be a part of a hugely historic and famous event.
As I said I am very grateful for this opportunity and hope to grasp it with both hands and make the very most of it!! -
