Tonight, we had a later session than the other day, James and Lewis had the GB – Serbia game and me and Tom had the USA – Romania game, the USA supporters went mental every time they scored. After our shift we went walking around the Olympic park and thought why not have a Mc Donalds.

On the way out of the Olympic park we were giving high fives to most of the games makers we saw, when we got back we came to find that all of our washing and ironing had been done by Zak.

Today we had our first match of the Olympics Spain v Kazakhstan which was the second game of the session, Tom and James had the first game Croatia – Greece.

I was quite nervous at first because of the presentations but after that it was alright, I guess each game i do it will become easier.

When we got back the house we waited around a bit and then watched the Great Britain – Romania game and then had a Chinese for tea.

Yesterday we traveled down to London for the final time to do the Olympics and got to the house about half past 7 then started to look for a place to eat and decided to go to the Giraffe.

Today we went to the water polo arena and went through the victory ceremony twice, we where on the victors podium and the other five lads were representing GB in first place, but i had to stand in third, after that it was about half past 5 and went back to the flat.

On July 8th we listened to a presentation about the aquatics centre and the water polo arena.

We then had a tour of both, I was impressed by the sheer scale of these buildings and just how fantastic it will be when athletes and specators fill these places the atmosphere will be electric.

All the Young Games Makers and Team Leaders went back to the Water Polo Arena to have another talk going over what our duties will be.

On Monday 2nd July we travelled down to London for the fifth time excited about getting our Youth Games Maker kit on the Tuesday, but before doing that we went to a cinema to watch 20 minute videos for 2 hours in-between the videos we watched an interview with Paralympic swimming gold medalist Giles Long which I found entertaining as Giles was funny character.

After that we had a lot of time to spare before picking up our kit so we went to Mc Donald’s to have some dinner, we still had about 2 hours to kill so we went to M&M WORLD which was just across the road, it was a world dedicated to M&M’s, four floors of fun. It was great time in the store as the team bonded before heading back to Lancaster.

There is only 125 days left till it all starts and the things that I am looking to at the Olympics are watching the top players of the country playing in London and I hope learn something while I’m there, It is a once in a lifetime opportunity and will be brilliant to watch.

It is going to be good seeing all the players from different countries. I think that the atmosphere will be awesome that all the world class athletes are in one place.
