Today, Scotts Mum and Dad came round and so did Tom’s. They took them out so there was only me and James left so we decided to go to Westfields and Ant broke a record for spending the most time in one shop!

We then went into the olypmic park to look around the places we had not managed to see while on shift. James met his friend in the park and we stayed and chatted for a while. We then tried to get into the water polo arena to watch GB’s final game. We sat in the athelte’s seating because me and james were there.

After that we went to Pizza Express and had a delicious pizza! The four of us made our way home and then we had to do a 30 minute writing of why we should get the final. The end of the day had come about and they finaly told us that we had got the final a thing Zak would not tell us all day.

Zak then got us some pin badges from Soulth Africa which made everyone happy! We had to wait at the pool also while james shortened the pitch for the womens matches tomorrow. The rest of us sat and watched team GB win 3 golds all from athletics.

We then ended the night by getting a chippy and watching the days highlights from what we missed during the day.

Tonight me and James had the GB game, we were both very nervous but also excited. The lads played really well and scored some really good goals. The crowd was amazing and when ever GB scored they when crazy.

We also went in the largest Mcdonalds and had a really good time on the way home. There was lots going on in the park on the way out and the mood was really positive and everyone was having a great time !

Today was the first game of the Olympic Water Polo we were on first shift so it was an early get up; but it was all worth it. Tom and James were on first game where Croatia won and our game which Spain won!

Walking out first and being the first person the camera’s saw. When i got on the stand my legs were shaking with excitment but also nerves! It was such a good day and i can’t wait for the next one to come.

It was good to see some of the best athletes in the world go head to head and learn some new things off them. We then when home and had chinese and watched GB compete in the water polo but not do very well.

We arrived yesterday in London when we got in we went shopping for some basic things for breakfast the next day. We then ventured out to see what was around the area and decided to eat in Giraffe.

Today we wore our Olympic kit for the first time we looked really smart or for Colin ‘tidy’. Now we are back home and Tom and James and making us tea so if you don’t hear from me again you know why !

Today was really good as we saw the final preparations being done for all the venues out side and for those inside the water polo arena !

Sunday brought about our last training session in London before the Olympics. As we made our way down to London we met ant at Euston.

When we got to the olympic park lots had happened since we were last there the venues have all been redecorated for the Olympics instead of test events. The water polo arena looked amazing!

We then took a good luck at the aquatics centre which looked outstanding.

The Olympics is now only 14 days till we travel and I can’t wait !

On the way back to Euston it was very rushed as we only had an hour to get back; we only made the train with one minuet till it departed. The day was great as we saw more of the park that we would not see at games time and also got most of our final instructions for games time!

We made our final stay in a hotel in London before the Olympics on Monday. The night before our training we went to our usual Chinese.

The next day, we headed off into London to find a cinema to do our training; we watched a series of videos which told us what they expect from us as volunteers.

After the training we went and had some lunch and went in M&M world and had a look around!

After that we went to pick up our kit which was exciting as it sank in that the Olympics was only a few weeks away! The kit looks really smart and I cannot wait for the Olympics to happen!

The Olympic water polo arena looked amazing at the test event. The excitement that I will be involved in the 2012 Olympics has only just sunk in.

Seeing the athletes the other night and the buzz around the arena when Great Britain was playing was awesome. Getting our first taste of what our role will be like was great although it was a bit hectic.

I thought the night went brilliant; walking out to see thousands of people turn up just to watch the test event just think what it will be like when it’s full. The two days was amazing and seeing the house also.

We went to London on Saturday for our first training day and it amazing. We had some presentations, got our test event it and got a tour of the water polo arena and an idea of our job role.

Arriving at night, the arenas were all lit up and it looked really good. As I walked into the water polo arena it looked really big and incredible.

I enjoyed being with the team and making lots of good memories which I will always remember.

The best thing while we were there was to see behind the scenes, the training pool, the offices, the waiting areas for the players, where the press will hold conferences and the changing rooms where some of the best will be was great. Most people won’t get to see these areas but I have!
